After completing her extensive Eras Tour next weekend, Taylor Swift is looking forward to some much-needed rest.
The pop icon has been constantly on the move for nearly two years, performing over 150 shows since the tour began in March 2023, but it will finally conclude on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Taylor is drained,” an insider told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s looking forward to relaxing and having some time to unwind.”
The “Fortnite” singer is reportedly planning to spend most of her time in Kansas City with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, whom she began dating last summer during her busy tour schedule.
“Taylor plans to relax and spend time at home with Travis for a while,” an insider shared with the outlet.
“They’re looking forward to doing ‘normal things’ as a couple,” a second source said. “Taylor and Travis are excited to spend quality time together because that’s when the small details about each other’s personalities and habits really come out. They’ll learn a lot about each other.”
Although the “All Too Well” singer is looking forward to some rest, she is already reportedly brainstorming ideas for her next album and possible tour.
However, the source mentioned that “things could change” depending on how her relationship with 35-year-old Travis Kelce develops.
“A lot of it depends on what happens in the next year with Travis,” the second insider said. “She’s asked her team to give her one year to figure out how things go with her personal life.”
While both Swift and Kelce are said to be eager for an engagement, they’re “not rushing into it.”
“Taylor feels like Travis is The One, but she’s not the type to rush,” the insider revealed. “Marriage is a huge commitment, and she wants it to last forever.”
When it comes to starting a family, the couple is reportedly focused on their careers, and that idea is still years away.
The pair is said to plan spending time in Missouri until Kelce’s season ends before splitting their time between Swift’s place in New York City.
One insider also shared that Swift plans to celebrate her 35th birthday on December 13 and the conclusion of her tour in NYC, where she also hosted last year’s celebration.
“She enjoys a cozy gathering with her closest friends,” said an insider, adding, “Taylor is looking forward to turning 35. She feels proud of everything she has achieved.”
She is also reportedly planning to host Christmas with her and Travis Kelce’s families, who have become “very close” over the past year and a half.
Earlier this week, Page Six confirmed that the Grammy-winning singer and her family, including her mom Andrea Swift and dad Scott Swift, hosted the Kelces for Thanksgiving.
The celebration took place at Taylor’s home in Nashville, Tennessee.
A source shared that it was “really important” for the couple to celebrate together this year, after missing the opportunity last year due to Taylor’s tour commitments.
The Kelce family, including Super Bowl champion Travis’ parents Donna and Ed Kelce, his brother Jason Kelce, his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce, and his three nieces, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, all flew to Tennessee to join the celebration.
“They knew it would require some planning, but they are so thankful they managed to make it work,” the source added.
