Rumer Willis revealed her one-year-old daughter Louetta has a special connection with her grandpa Bruce Willis.
When asked about how her father is doing amid his battle with frontotemporal dementia, the 35-year-old actress revealed the retired action star, 69, was ‘doing really good.’
‘I got to go over there with Louetta today,’ she told People at the Jhpiego Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala on Thursday.
She went on to rave about how her little girl, who she shares with boyfriend Derek Thomas, ‘loves’ seeing her grandpa.

‘It’s so sweet,’ she continues. ‘Louetta honestly is like the most-famous person in our family. Within my family, people will call and ask to have playdates just with her. They’re like, ‘We don’t really want to see you, we’re just coming over to see Louetta.’ I’m like, ‘OK.”
Rumer also gushed that her sisters recently babysat her baby ‘for the first time.’
‘They did a very good job,’ she said.
Louetta is the first grandchild for Bruce and his ex-wife Demi Moore, 61.
This week, Rumer also spoke with DailyMail.com about embracing her postpartum body.
The star, who often appears on Instagram rocking bikinis, spoke about how motherhood has changed her body image for the better.
Specifically, the actress hasn’t felt the pressure to ‘snap back’ after pregnancy and has, instead, embraced the postpartum journey.
‘What’s been amazing is that I feel that having a kid and being postpartum and still breastfeeding has really allowed me the space. Like, I’ve made no rush to dive in and change anything,’ she explained.
‘If anything I probably eat more freely. I’m still breastfeeding, so anything I take away from myself, I take it away [from my daughter].

The singer recently discussed enjoying her postpartum physique with DailyMail.com and not feeling pressure to’snap back’ after baby.
‘It’s given me complete freedom to let my body do whatever it wants.’
The Willis family has stayed exceptionally close despite Demi and Bruce’s divorce in 2000 after 13 years of marriage.
They spend the holidays together with Bruce’s new wife, Emma Hemming Willis, and their two young girls, and they have rallied around the Glass star during his awful health fight.
Rumer stated that infant Louetta’s ‘face lights up’ when she hears her phone’s FaceTime ringtone, indicating that it is an approaching call from relatives.
‘She will try to grab the phone and check who is on it, and her face will light up with a megawatt smile.’
Rumer raved about how’sweet’ it is to see Demi becoming a grandmother.
‘I think grandmothers are intrinsically very different than mothers to a certain sense because it’s all of the joy [of having a child] without any of the responsibilities,’ she remarked. ‘There is just so much sweetness.’

Rumer also expressed how’sweet’ it has been to witness her mother, Demi, become a grandma.
Rumer then provided an update on Bruce, who retired from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia and then frontotemporal dementia, and expressed her hope that their family’s resilience may inspire others.
‘For me, what’s been so great about this experience is how much my father is loved, and I believe that’s reflected in the openness with which we’ve been providing [updates on his health],’ she stated.
Demi and Emma, the Willis sisters, have all used Instagram to share their thoughts on Bruce’s illness and how their family is handling it.
Rumer stated that if discussing their experience may provide ‘hope or consolation to others experiencing [something similar], then that’s everything.’
Although Bruce’s illnesses are terminal, Rumer assured fans that the renowned actor is doing’really fantastic.’
Rumer then recounted the ‘biggest’ lesson she learnt from her parents, Demi and Bruce, on how ‘laughing’ was important in their household growing up.
‘One of my favorite things [that I’ve learned] from both of them is having a sense of fun and goofiness and not taking oneself too seriously,’ she remarked.
