Liverpool are reportedly in the market for a new striker before the transfer window closes and have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund’s Maximilian Beier.

The 21-year-old German has been impressive in the Bundesliga with Hoffenhiem in the 23-24 season, netting 16 goals and providing three assists in 33 appearances. His standout performances even earned him a call-up to the German national team for Euro 2024 and a move to Borussia Dortmund.

But since then, he has been struggling to find his way into the starting eleven. Reports coming in saying that he may be looking for a way out to have more playing time.

With Beier’s stock rising rapidly, Liverpool are keen to secure his services and have reportedly initiated talks with Dortmund. It remains to be seen if the Reds can fend off competition for the young forward, but his goal-scoring prowess makes him an attractive target.
