Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis marked their 15th wedding anniversary last week, despite the actor’s battle with dementia.
Emma, 45, wrote on Instagram on Thursday that the relationship was’stronger than ever’, accompanying a snapshot of herself and Bruce, 69, sharing a passionate kiss.
‘Today is our 15th wedding anniversary! And today, I can make a decision. She stated, “I can wallow in sorrow or celebrate it.”
I refer to this as the “remarkable reframe.” What I do know is that there is a lot to celebrate. ‘Our union and connection are probably stronger than ever,’ she added.
We have two brilliant, fun, and healthy girls. We have a familial unit based on mutual respect and admiration. Simply said, I love and adore the man I married. I’m extremely pleased of what we’ve accomplished and continue to build. So, Happy Crystal Anniversary to Us!

In 2019, the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in a touching backyard ceremony with their friends and family – including Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore.
‘On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said “I do” back in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends,’ Emma said last year.
‘Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime,’ she continued.
‘And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.’
It comes after Emma, 45, gushed her husband is a ‘true gentle-man’ with a ‘pure’ and ‘good’ core as she sang his praises on Instagram on Tuesday.

His eldest daughter also sent her own birthday greeting, along with a bevy of adorable throwback family images of the action actor and his daughter.
Rumer, who gave birth to her first child Louetta last year, praised her father as the ‘funniest’ and ‘out of this world ridiculous talented’.
She stated that his granddaughter Louetta adored him “so much.”
