Despite Bruce Willis’s diagnosis of dementia, Emma Heming Willis is preserving her favorite memories of him.
On Wednesday, the model posted a video montage of the couple’s 2019 vow renewal on Instagram to commemorate their 14th wedding anniversary.
We chose to reaffirm our vows in the same location where we exchanged vows in 2009 on our tenth wedding anniversary. In her caption, 44-year-old Emma said, “I’m so happy we did.”
“Take advantage of every chance to come together and rejoice with loved ones. You can cherish those moments and those lovely pockets of memory for the rest of your life. And for those who might not be able to, we get to preserve those memories đź’Ś.

The video, which was recorded by Demi Moore, Bruce’s ex-wife, and featured Emma going barefoot down the aisle with the couple’s daughters, Mabel, now 10, and Evelyn, now 8, was set to Coldplay’s “Fix You.”
The event was officiated by Bruce’s old friend Stephen Eads, and the wedding singers were Rumer and Scout Willis, two of his other kids.
As their friends and family applauded them, the pair sealed the deal — for the second time — with a tender kiss toward the end of the film. A group portrait with the title “family” marked the end of it.

However, the anniversary proves to be a bittersweet time for Emma, who reflected on how the pair’s relationship has changed in a tribute to her husband earlier this week.
The model posted on Instagram, “Today marks 14 years of marriage to the greatest love of my life.”
“It made me consider how difficult these kinds of’special occasions’ can be for caregivers,” she added. Normally, our person would acknowledge the incident, but these days, their evolving brains just cannot. And it is just that.

The frank essay was published about a year after the 68-year-old “Die Hard” star announced his retirement from acting due to persistent health problems.
The actor’s family soon disclosed that he had received a diagnosis of aphasia, a language disability.
Bruce was also diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) about a year later, which Emma described as a “painful” pill to swallow.

The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration posted a statement from Bruce’s family saying, “FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.”
According to Bruce’s family, FTD has no known cure and frequently results in personality changes, speech problems, and movement difficulties.
Moore and the “Sixth Sense” star were wed from 1987 until 2000. The ex-couples also have a daughter, Tallulah, 29, and two children, Rumer, 34, and Scout, 31.
