Taylor Swift’s younger brother, Austin Swift, came to the aid of a disabled fan during the Eras Tour concert, offering them floor seats after the stadium failed to provide proper accessible seating.
Isabel shared the story on X, explaining how Austin, known for his role in Braking for Whales, made sure she had a better experience at the concert.
She recounted the events, saying, “To cut a long story short(er), we didn’t have ADA tickets, so we had to swap there.”
She continued, “The first ADA seats we were given in the 500s were sold on Ticketmaster to people who didn’t need accessible seats, but they were allowed to keep them.”
Isabel and her friend were then directed to the 100 section to ask for relocation. However, they missed Gracie Adams’ entire opening set and Swift’s “Lover era,” only to be told there were no accessible seats left.
They were given floor seats, but Isabel said these “didn’t exist.”
She explained, “After multiple interactions with security, we were finally given new floor seats (yay!)… but they were inaccessible (BOOOO). This went on for three eras in FOUR sections,” Isabel said.
“By ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version),’ we had been moved to six different areas, barely saw Taylor, and STILL didn’t have accessible seating,” she claimed.
Frustrated, Isabel and her friend were told once more to return to the 100 section when Austin appeared “out of nowhere” and asked if they needed help.
“He listened to our story, invited us into the VIP lounge with him, and made sure we were comfortable,” Isabel recalled. “He introduced us as his friends, set up our seats, offered us food and drinks, and checked on us a million times.”
When Taylor’s security arrived with the VIP wristbands, they kindly brought Isabel’s family from the 500s to join them.
Although Isabel was upset with the stadium’s handling of the situation, she was “blown away” by Austin’s “generosity and kindness.”
She shared photos of herself and her loved ones in the VIP lounge, thanking Austin for his thoughtful gesture.
Austin has been a source of support for fans during the Eras Tour while his sister performs on stage. Just recently, he intervened to defend a fan who was being removed from the Indianapolis concert for wearing a Travis Kelce costume.
According to a TikTok video, the fan, dressed in Kelce’s full football uniform, had been trying to catch the attention of the Kansas City Chiefs star, who made a surprise appearance at the concert.
When security attempted to eject the fan for wearing a helmet, Austin stepped in, telling the guard, “Hey, let’s not put hands on people.”
He then apologized to the fan, calling her costume “really cool,” and gave her some guitar picks before encouraging her to enjoy the rest of the show.
