Taylor Swift didn’t expect her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, managed to attend her penultimate Eras Tour performance in the U.S

The 34-year-old pop icon was captivating the enthusiastic audience on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis when her boyfriend, 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, made a surprise appearance at the concert.

Taylor Swift was reportedly 'shocked' that her boyfriend Travis Kelce was able to join her at her second-to-last Eras Tour show in the US on Saturday, a source told Page Six; seen Friday in Indianapolis

Footage from the evening reveals the NFL player mingling with Taylor’s mother, Andrea, 66, and her brother, Austin, 32.

“Andrea and Austin didn’t expect Travis to be able to attend,” a source shared with Page Six. “They were taken aback when he showed up.”

These performances were likely particularly meaningful for Taylor, as her three-night stint in Indianapolis marked her final shows in the U.S. during her extensive Eras Tour.

This record-breaking tour, which is the highest-grossing in history and the first to surpass $1 billion in earnings, kicked off in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.

The tour will wrap up with nine concerts in Canada, including six in Toronto followed by three final shows in Vancouver.

“It was a wonderful surprise, and they were excited he could join them for such a significant event,” the source added regarding Taylor’s mother and brother.

Even in the shaky footage captured by fans, it was clear that the reunion with Travis was filled with joy, as he embraced Austin warmly, who reciprocated with enthusiastic pats on Travis’s back.

Andrea’s reaction was one of surprise, her mouth agape at the sight of the Chiefs star, and the two were later spotted dancing together to Taylor’s music.

Even in the grainy fan-shot footage, the reunion with Travis was obviously a joyous one, as he wrapped Austin in an affectionate hug, while Austin was seen giving Travis some hearty pats on the back

The source noted that it was “really important” for Travis to attend at least one of Taylor’s last shows in the U.S.

However, there was initial uncertainty about whether he could actually make it, despite his strong desire to be there.

“Travis had practice earlier that day and wasn’t sure he would be able to attend,” the insider revealed.

“It was a last-minute decision,” they added. “Fortunately, he managed to finish practice on time and make it.”

Taylor’s body language clearly showed that she was thrilled to see Travis.
