The science of beauty has placed Anya Taylor-Joy, Bella Hadid and Margot Robbie among the top ten most attractive women in the world, according to Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which measures physical perfection.

But these stunning starlets haven’t always looked like they do today – with Hollywood’s best skincare and make-up on hand to have elevated their appearance.

Striking before and after photos show how the actresses and models have transformed their faces over the years, with the power of cosmetics experts, stylists and hairdressers behind them.

In some cases, A-listers have even admitted to getting serious plastic surgery or other ‘tweakments’.

Bella Hadid – who placed in the top three – has candidly spoken about getting a nose job aged just 14, and how much she regrets the decision.

In a 2022 interview with Vogue magazine, she also detailed her struggles with body image and mental health, admitting she always felt ‘ugly’ and ‘uncool’ in comparison to elder sister Gigi, while reflecting on her battle with anorexia and seeking treatment for depression.

Half-Dutch, half-Palestinian Bella said of her procedure: ‘I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it.’ Bella has insisted that rhinoplasty is the only procedure she’s had done.

All the top ten were close to the perfect score which is 100 per cent. The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, who uses the technology in his work.

Anya Taylor-Joy topped the scientific poll for being the most beautiful woman in the world.

Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of the ‘perfect looking woman’.

Dune star Zendaya, 27, girlfriend of Spiderman hunk Tom Holland, was second with 94.37 per cent, model Bella Hadid, 27, was third with 94.35 per cent and Barbie actress Margot Robbie, 33, was fourth with 93.43 per cent.

Dr De Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London, said: ‘Anya Taylor-Joy had the highest overall reading for the positioning of her eyes, with a score of 98.9 per cent, which is only 1.1 per cent away from being the perfect shape.

‘Anya also had the highest score for her eyebrows and was close to the top in almost every category apart from her lips.’

He added that Zendaya was a ‘close second’, and achieved the second highest score for her helps with a mark of 99.5 per cent.

‘These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery,’ he continued.

The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty.

The ratio can be applied to anything and was used by Leonardo Da Vinci for the perfect human male body in his famous work, the Vitruvian Man.
