Taylor Swift premiered a new dress inspired by her koi fish-printed guitar during a surprise song performance at the New Orleans stop of her Eras Tour.
The 34-year-old pop star—who is said to feel “a tremendous sense of peace” with NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce, also 34—revealed the high-low V-neck gown on Saturday, featuring an orange bodice paired with a white and blue skirt.
The outfit was shorter in the front with a flowing train, which she showcased as she twirled across the stage, delighting 83,000 fans at the Caesars Superdome.
She completed the look with sparkling blue dance heels while performing four surprise songs.
Among them, Swift played her 2006 hit Our Song from her debut album and strummed Call It What You Want from her 2017 Reputation album on the guitar.
Swift then blended her 2024 hit Haunted from her debut album with The Black Dog by The Tortured Poets Department on the piano.
Fans online were quick to compare her new gown to the blue guitar she used during the 2011 Speak Now World Tour, which featured three orange fish circling the sound hole.
One passionate fan wrote on X, “Can we call this the Koi fish dress?!” Another added, “She’s a real-life koi fish.”
After the tour ended, the guitar was placed in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. However, in July 2023, Swift quietly retrieved it and played it on stage during her Kansas City stop, where she announced the re-recording release of her 2010 album Speak Now.
During the 1989 set, Swift sported a sparkly yellow brаlette with a purple skirt and green boots, paying tribute to the traditional Mardi Gras colors.
The Eras Tour, which began on March 17 last year in Glendale, Arizona, has grossed over $1.04 billion, becoming the highest-earning tour in history, as confirmed by AP.
This dazzling new dress follows Swift’s revelation that she handpicked the cities with the most enthusiastic fans to wrap up her Eras Tour.
