Taylor Swift snapped a picture with music legend Billy Joel and his two youngest daughters at her Eras Tour concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami this week.
The 75-year-old “Uptown Girl” star, who shares daughters Della and Remy with his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, appeared thrilled to be backstage with Swift, prior to the performance, praising her for being a role model for his daughters.
He expressed, “Our family attended the Taylor Swift concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where the Billy Joel/Elton John ‘Face to Face’ concert once held the seating record.
“Taylor’s second concert at Hard Rock Miami broke that record and marked a new era for Hard Rock Stadium.
“We were thrilled to be part of this record-breaking event! Plus, we got to celebrate with her mother.”
“Celebrating someone else’s achievements doesn’t diminish your own. She is inspiring our girls to see all that they can achieve. Forward and upward.”
Joel and his family also joined Taylor’s mother, Andrea, in the audience for the concert and captured another heartwarming photo together.
In July, Joel concluded his decade-long residency at a sold-out Madison Square Garden.
The performance also marked his 150th lifetime show, setting a record for any artist at the legendary venue.
The event became a family celebration for the singer, as his daughters were brought on stage by family friend Jimmy Fallon to help reveal a banner honoring him for his historic performance.
Joel had the privilege of sitting at the piano while Della sang and danced, beaming with pride as he watched her perform.
Remy had a front-row view of the show, perched at the end of her father’s piano, and was dressed in the same vibrant burgundy minidress as her older sister.
Joel also has another daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, 38, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christie Brinkley, 70.
