Inside Taylor Swift’s million dollar mansions which proves she’s truly self-made billionaire

Taylor Swift owns multiple real estate properties valued at around $150 million.

She is included on Forbes’ 2024 billionaires list, released on April 2, with a net worth of $1.1 billion. While Taylor gained fame for her impressive music career, she is also known for her extensive collection of multimillion-dollar properties.

Three years after her debut album in 2006, Taylor purchased her first apartment in 2009. At just 20 years old, she bought a penthouse in the Adelicia building in downtown Nashville for nearly $2 million. The interior design of the space was inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, showcasing a shabby-chic style.

In 2011, the “Country Music Princess” acquired her second Nashville property for $2.5 million. This villa features a main house of 520 square meters and an additional 185 square meters of living space. Built in the Greek revival architectural style, it includes a marble fireplace, herringbone-patterned floors, and vaulted ceilings. Reports indicated that Taylor’s mother briefly lived in this home.

In 2014, Taylor Swift spent nearly $20 million to buy two adjacent penthouses in the Sugar Loaf building in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood from director Peter Jackson, known for The Lord of the Rings. She instructed workers to remove the wall separating the two apartments, creating a combined space of 754 square meters with ten bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a billiards room, and an escalator.

According to Page Six, in September 2023, Taylor allowed actress Sophie Turner and her mother to stay in the apartment while Turner was engaged in a custody battle with her ex-husband, Joe Jonas.

In 2017, Taylor purchased a more than 100-year-old house in Tribeca for $18 million. As reported by Elle Decor, she hired architect Leopoldo Rosati to renovate the property, which now features a home theater, gym, large living room, and a porch with Japanese glass walls.

In early 2018, she bought a 325-square-meter townhouse adjacent to the Sugar Loaf building for $9.75 million, previously owned by financier Jeremy Phillips. Experts estimate the value of Taylor’s Tribeca real estate to be around $45 million.

In 2015, she spent $25 million on a villa in Beverly Hills (Los Angeles) that spans over 1,000 square meters. The home includes seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, two tennis courts, and a swimming pool. According to the Daily Mail, the property is currently valued at $31.6 million.

The mansion, built in 1934, was originally owned by film producer Samuel Goldwyn (1879-1974) and is now 90 years old.
