Kris Jenner made her first public appearance since OJ Simpson’s passing, joining her glamorous daughter Kim Kardashian at the 10th Breakthrough Prize ceremony in Los Angeles.
OJ Simpson passed away earlier that week at the age of 76 after battling cancer, marking thirty years since the infamous ‘trial of the century’ that deeply affected the Kardashian family.
Kris Jenner’s close friend, Nicole Brown, OJ’s ex-wife, was tragically mᴜгdered alongside Ron Goldman in Los Angeles in June 1994. During the trial, prosecutors alleged that OJ committed the mᴜгders out of jealousy, portraying him as an ‘obsessive ex’ who couldn’t bear the thought of losing Nicole.
Kris’s former husband, Robert Kardashian, famously served as OJ’s defense attorney during the trial, a decision that left a lasting impact on the family. Despite a substantial amount of evidence against him and widespread belief among Nicole’s friends that OJ was responsible for the passings, he was acquitted of the charges.
Following OJ’s passing, Kris, 68, attended the star-studded event in Los Angeles. She looked effortlessly chic in a long black skirt and jacket paired with a silk corset and sheer shirt.
Kim showcased her famous curves in a white halter-neck leather gown with side cut-outs that accentuated her figure. The outfit also highlighted her ample cleavage, adding a sultry touch to her appearance. Kim completed the look with waist-length wet-look hair, adding height to her 5’2″ frame with clear platform heels.
For makeup, Kim opted for a smokey eyeshadow, dramatic lashes, pink blush, and red lip gloss, perfectly complementing her ensemble.

In a statement posted on OJ’s X account, it was announced that he had passed away ‘surrounded by family’.
