Angelina Jolie was seen buddying up to a very big singer.
The Oscar winner posed alongside Alicia Keys at the after party for the opening of the Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders.
The ladies posed side-by-side as Alicia kept her sunglasses on at Cipriani 42nd Street.
Also there was Jolie’s daughter Vivienne Jolie–Pitt, 15.
Angie told Exra: ‘Viv ended up more with Justin than with me, so as you can tell by choice of attire, which team she’s on… She’s on the music, writer, and greaser team.’
Justin is Justin Levine, who did the book and score.
Jolie also complimented the cast: ‘I love them and I admire them. They are an extremely talented, brilliant, kind group of people.’
She added, ‘They really are. It’s not just that they’re good people and they are, which is rare to have.
‘Just such a group of great people, but they are so hardworking and they’re so talented that I just can’t wait for everybody to see them, so please come.’
Angie also designed some of the looks for the show, including the one Justin was wearing. She shared, ‘I had fun doing it.’
Angelina also said that Vivienne ended up being a ‘tough assistant’ to her.
She also said that Vivienne was the ‘biggest theatre head’ of the family, according to People.
‘Viv. Definitely Viv,’ she reiterated, while Justin Levine, who wrote the book and score to The Outsiders, chimed in: ‘Definitely Viv.’
‘Hands down,’ the By The Sea filmmaker concurred as she arrived at the premiere with Vivienne and her son Pax Jolie–Pitt, 20.
