Motherhood can be challenging, but according to Swizz Beatz, it comes effortlessly for his wife, Alicia Keys. The rapper and producer shared with People that Alicia is a “natural mom,” even impressing his own mother. “She even surprised my mom, who wanted to give her tips but was like, ‘What tips can I give?! She’s already ahead of the game.'”

Alicia Keys has been open about her parenting philosophy, especially when it comes to raising their 21-month-old son, Egypt. She aims to instill a sense of compassion and charity in him. “I think as a compassionate person, which I really want to teach him to be, you naturally want to lend and be a part of change. I know that he’ll naturally find the thing he’s passionate about and want to change.”

As for expanding their family, Swizz Beatz expressed optimism. “God willing, yes,” he said. “Everything just has to flow.” When asked if “God willing” also meant Alicia willing, Beatz laughed and added, “That too!”

In addition to Egypt, Beatz has three children from previous relationships, making their blended family a vibrant and dynamic unit.
