Alicia Keys has her hands full with a newborn but she still made time for a workout as she prepares for the TCS New York City Marathon.

The 34-year-old was spotted pushing her infant son’s stroller alongside her personal trainer on Thursday.

The mother of two has been training for the world’s largest annual marathon that will take place through the five boroughs of New York City on November 1.

The Grammy Award-winner dressed in all black Under Armour gym gear with a light trim and matching baseball cap.

Keys went makeup-free as she showed off her natural beauty and flawless complexion.

Alicia’s nearly 10-month-old son, Genesis was kept warm in a pale blue hooded onesie with matching bonnet and light grey socks.

The Fallin hit maker trained with her hunky coach who wore a red gym shirt, pale grey shorts and kept his mane covered with a black Adidas cap.

This is not the first marathon Keys has participated in as she ran a marathon in Greece in 2007 but swore she would ‘never do another one,’ according to Refinery29.

Alicia has started a personal blog on the fashion, style and beauty website documenting her experience as she prepares for the 26.2 mile run.

While she never thought she would run a marathon again she explained, ‘This is my city, so why not?’

‘I’m all about breaking mental boundaries, and training for a marathon falls right into the Jedi mind-training I need.’

‘And the best part is that all of this is not really about me,’ Keys stated.

‘It’s about supporting Keep a Child Alive, which my co-founders and I created to get life-saving HIV medications to African children and families who otherwise would not have access to treatment.’

 

 

 

Keys has been married to hip hop recording artist and producer, Swizz Beatz since 2010 and the couple shares Genesis and five-year-old Egypt together.
