Divine: Alicia Keys is opening up about her journey into motherhood and how meditation helped unlock the 'Divine Feminie' within her

In her editorial, Keys discusses her collaboration with Deepak Chopra on a 21-day meditation series titled “Activating the Divine Feminine: The Path to Wholeness.” She reflects on how motherhood led her to seek a deeper connection with herself and her spirituality. Keys embarked on this journey at the suggestion of her friend Erika, who recommended a Kundalini yoga and meditation retreat. Despite initial challenges, she found solace in the retreat’s blend of chanting, singing, and movement.

Partner: 'I needed to do something so I could continue to be a good mother to my children, partner to my husband, and friend to myself,' she said

Suggestion: Keys added that her friend Erika suggested, 'a Kundalini yoga and meditation retreat,' explaining that, 'kundalini energy rests in the base of your spine, and this practice would help creative, healing Divine Feminine energy rise through my body'

As Keys delved deeper into meditation, she discovered a profound connection with her intuition, which enhanced her relationships and empowered her as a mother, partner, and artist. “I could hear what I needed and what my family needed,” she explains, emphasizing how meditation helped her access the Divine Feminine within.

Family: 'I could hear what I needed and what my family needed. Same with my relationships with my husband, my mother and definitely my work. Now I could be crystal clear, powerful and strong and not back down because I had a way to access my own intuition. I had made a genuine connection with the Divine Feminine,' she said

Balance: She added that the goal of meditation is to find a balance between the masculine and feminine energies within both males and females

Through the transformative power of meditation, Keys envisions a brighter, more harmonious future, inviting others to embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.

Climb out: 'As we climb out of the pandemic, we can use self-care and self-love to balance out the loss and brokenness around us. This is a time to create new rituals and make them a part of our daily lives,' she added
