Zendaya and Tom Holland appeared еngaged in casual conversation while dining together on Wednesday in California.

Tom Holland and Zendaya were reportedly seen dining together on Wednesday night at a Thai restaurant near Universal Studios Hollywood in California, just one day before they were photographed kissing inside a car.

In the restaurant photos, first obtained by TMZ, the casually dressed Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars seemed deeply engrossed in their conversation.

Sources informed the outlet that Holland, 25, and Zendaya, 24, arrived separately at the restaurant around 9 p.m., wearing masks, which they removed once seated together.

The pair went public with their romance on Friday, a day after sharing a steɑmy kiss inside a car, as shown in photos obtained by Page Six.

Other snapshots showed the couple out and about in Los Angeles, with Zendaya wearing a halter-style white crop top and green bottoms, accessorized with hoop earrings. Holland kept it casual in a white T-shirt over a blue flannel and drawstring pants.

Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, was also seen spending time with the pair that day.

Reps for both actors have not responded to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

A source previously told PEOPLE in July 2017 that Zendaya and Holland were romantically involved.

“They started seeing each other while filming Spider-Man,” said the insider. “They’ve been very careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations together and try to spend as much time as possible with one another.”

Zendaya seemingly dismissed romantic speculation that same month, tweeting, “My favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven’t been on a vacation in years! hbu @TomHolland1996 ???”

In August of that year, the Euphoria actress told Variety she and Holland were not romantically involved, adding, “He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There are very few people who will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”
