She’s taking a well-deserved break from professional tennis to recuperate from injuries and the disappointment of missing out on the US Open.
Serena Williams made the most of her time off by enjoying a night out at The Nice Guy club in West Hollywood on Sunday. The tennis champion, who had a remarkable year winning the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, securing her 21st Grand Slam singles title, looked relaxed as she left the trendy venue.
The 34-year-old draped her fit physique in a white mini dress adorned with silver sparkles, highlighting her toned legs. Despite nursing a right ankle injᴜry, tightly wrapped in a beige compression wrap, Serena exuded style with natural curls, coral pink lipstick, and shimmery eyeshadow.
While recently linked to rapper Drake, who supported her court-side at Flushing Meadows, Serena enjoyed her evening out with friends. She accessorized with a small leather handbag, a diamond necklace, and large earrings, pairing the ensemble with Nike sneakers featuring a black and white leopard skin pattern and a bright pink sole.
Currently ranked world No. 1, Serena is taking a hiatus from the demanding tennis circuit to recover. Her u𝚗expеcted exit from the US Open semifinals last month, where she aimed to achieve a calendar-year Grand Slam, stu𝚗𝚗ed fans.
Earlier in the day, the Los Angeles native caught up with her friend Eva Longoria for brunch, sharing joyful moments and toasting their reunion. Serena, sporting dark glasses and a black sun visor, joined Eva and others including Robert Verdi and Amaury Nolasco, who stars alongside Eva in the upcoming NBC comedy Hоt And Bothered, which Serena recently directed an episode for.
It’s clear Serena Williams is making the most of her time off-court, balancing relaxation with creative projects and cherished time with friends.
