Tom Holland and Lewis Hamilton were spotted leaving lunch in New York City on Monday.
The 27-year-old Spider-Man star and the 38-year-old British race car driver exited St. Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village, a popular celebrity spot. Holland hailed a cab as they left.
The Uncharted star, who is taking a year-long break from acting due to the intense demands of his latest role, wore a blue hat, a zip-up hoodie, black sports training pants, and Nike Air Max shoes.
The seven-time World Champion sported a stylish look, featuring a $154 blue ERL ‘Venice’ t-shirt layered under a long sleeve printed top draped over his shoulders. He completed the ensemble with $378 ERL Hibiscus printed cargo pants and white sneakers.
Hamilton, who has recently been linked to Shakira, wore $285 Off-White Nassau rectangular glasses and styled his signature braids in a loose bun. Earlier this week, he was seen picking up the 46-year-old Colombian superstar on a $230,000 speed boat outside her $20 million waterfront mansion in Biscayne Bay. He extended his hand to help her aboard the boat.
Currently, Hamilton is fourth in the drivers’ standings, trailing behind Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, and Fernando Alonso, but he leads his Mercedes teammate George Russell by 22 points.
Hamilton has revealed that the upcoming F1-inspired movie starring Brad Pitt will highlight the sport’s ‘diverse’ future, though he will make only a brief appearance, if at all. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Hamilton, the film will feature action shots filmed during the British Grand Prix in July and will include stars like Damson Idris and Kerry Condon.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Hamilton discussed his involvement in casting the film and emphasized its role in portraying how Formula One should look in the future. Since becoming the sport’s first black driver in 2007, he has been a leading advocate for diversity in Formula One and aims to reflect that in the movie.
The recent cancellation of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix due to flooding gave Hamilton time to work on the film’s script with director Kosinski, Brad Pitt, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Holland recently shared in an interview with ExtraTV that he plans to take a year off after working on The Crowded Room, citing the challenging nature of the project. He mentioned, ‘I loved the learning curve of becoming a producer. I’m no stranger to hard work, and I really enjoyed it. But the show did break me, and there came a time where I needed a break.’
Holland, who is in a long-term relationship with Zendaya, has his new film premiering on AppleTV+ this Friday.
