When asked about the gesture by The Hollywood Reporter, Keanu expressed his joy in sharing experiences and lives together.
Chad Stahelski, who worked closely with Keanu as his stunt double in The Matrix trilogy and later as a director in John Wick, praised Keanu’s generosity, mentioning how he flew many of them to the premiere and ensured their presence, acknowledging the support of his trainers, crew, and others.
Keanu extended invitations to his representatives, family, friends, and crew, covering expenses such as private jet travel, accommodations, premiere tickets, and gifts.
He also hosted a special brunch after the premiere. Known for his philanthropy, Keanu founded a cancеr foundation and has generously gifted motorcycles and watches to his crew members after completing films like The Matrix Reloaded and John Wick: Chapter 4.
