Keanu Reeves recently revealed that he had a crush on his “Speed” co-star Sandra Bullock. The 54-year-old actor confessed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that during the filming of the 1994 blockbuster, he was quite taken with the stunning brunette but chose not to act on his feelings to maintain a professional working relationship.

During the show, Ellen played a clip from the previous year in which Sandra, also 54, admitted her crush on Keanu. Ellen then asked Keanu if he was aware of Sandra’s feelings, to which he responded, “No. She obviously didn’t know that I had a crush on her, either.”

The audience erupted in cheers as Ellen exclaimed, “I can’t believe you both had crushes on each other… and you were so scarеd.” Keanu, known for his role in “John Wick,” explained, “We were working!” When Ellen inquired further if he had ever been romantically involved with someone he worked with, Keanu hinted at a past workplace romance but remained elusive about the details.

Reflecting on his time working with Sandra on the action-packed “Speed,” Keanu added, “It was nice to go to work.” He praised Sandra, saying, “She’s such a wonderful person, such a wonderful actress.”

Ellen humorously noted, “I believe she’s in a relationship now, the window closed,” referring to Sandra’s relationship with photographer Bryan Randall, which began in 2015.

In a conversation with Ellen in December, Sandra admitted that working alongside someone as handsome as Keanu made it hard for her to stay focused. “It was hard… it was really hard for me to be serious. He would look at me and I’d be like…” she said, giggling nervously. Ellen then asked if they had ever dated, to which Sandra replied, “Never dated him. There was just something about me, I guess… he didn’t like,” she laughed. “But I think we’re probably friends for that long… because we didn’t…”
