Tom Holland was seen filming on the set of the upcoming anthology series The Crowded Room in New York City on Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old actor appeared to be enjoying his time on set, chatting with his co-star Sasha Lane and his younger brother Harry.

Holland’s involvement with the series was first announced in April last year, and it is slated for release on the Apple TV+ streaming service.

During filming, Holland wore a vintage plaid button-up shirt paired with slightly oversized pants and beige boots. To combat the chilly New York weather, he later added a dark gray zip-up jacket.

Lane, 26, was also spotted on set wearing a tie-dye t-shirt under a green jacket, along with wide-legged dark blue pants and light brown shoes.

The Crowded Room is inspired by Daniel Keyes’ biography The Minds of Billy Milligan, published in 1981, and will explore true stories of individuals living with mentаl illnesses. Holland stars as Danny Sullivan, a character based on Milligan, who gained notoriety as the first person acquitted of a crime due to dissociative identity disоrder.

In addition to his acting role, Holland serves as an executive producer for the series. Amanda Seyfried recently joined the cast as clinical psychologist Rya, balancing her career with single motherhood, while Emmy Rossum plays Danny’s mother Candy. Sasha Lane portrays Ariana, Danny’s close friend seeking justice, and Christopher Abbott stars as Stan, Danny’s lawyer coping with trauma from Vietnam.

Filming for The Crowded Room began earlier this month in New York City, with a release date on Apple TV+ yet to be announced.
