Alicia Keys was seen arriving with her crew in Rio de Janeiro at Galeao International Airport on Monday.
The Fallin’ singer is scheduled to perform two shows in Brazil before moving on to Chile next week as she continues the South American leg of her Alicia + Keys World Tour.
The mother-of-two appeared makeup free behind dark shades and wore a comfy purple sweat suit with white sneakers as she made her way through the travel hub.
The classically trained singer-songwriter wore a black and silver bag crossbody and gold hoop earrings and styled her long, curly hair back in an elaborate braid.
The 15-time Grammy winner recently invited Ralph Yarl, a teen who was shot after accidentally ringing the wrong doorbell, to her concert scheduled in Kansas this July.
Ralph’s family set up a GoFundMe trust for donations which has already passed USD $3.4 million.
According to TMZ, there is no set plan for the money, but Ralph’s family ensures it will be there for him when he needs it.
This comes after Keys recreated her iconic hit ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ for Netflix’s upcoming Bridgerton prequel, which premieres May 4.
The hitmaker also released eight spatial audio albums on Apple Music last week after re-recording and remixing the original raw files from her songs.
Keys told the Associated Press at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London last month, ‘I’m doing a brand-new reimagined version of ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ with a 90-piece orchestra with women of color, and it is incredible.’
The Girl On Fire singer added, ‘While I was sitting there with y’all in there listening, I’m like, Man, I hear those horns. I hear the piano back here, I hear strings over here.’ I forgot strings are in there. You know, you’re hearing things that you hadn’t heard before.”
Keys also commented on her upcoming shows in South America, saying, ‘I’m so excited about performing in Latin America. I mean, so much of Latin America I’ve actually never performed in. I’ve never performed in Mexico, believe it or not.
‘I’ve never performed in Colombia. So, you know, we’re able to go to Brazil and Argentina and Chile, and it’s going to be incredible. Very excited about that. Everybody over there is going crazy. Like, I really, really can’t wait to be there,’ said Alicia.
