Keanu Reeves was seen on the set of Aziz Ansari’s upcoming comedy film, Good Fortune, in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The 59-year-old John Wick star sported a beige trench coat, white shirt, and green tie, along with fluffy white angel wings on his back as part of his character’s ensemble in the Los Feliz neighborhood.
Reeves, dressed in gray slacks and brown dress shoes, worked under the Southern California sun surrounded by a film crew. His distinctive long, dark hair was neatly styled with a middle part, complemented by a full beard.
Also present on set was Ansari, dressed casually in khaki trousers and a red plaid shirt. Plot details and character names for the film remain under wraps as Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group chair Joe Drake expressed enthusiasm for the project, praising Ansari’s dual role as performer and director. He highlighted the addition of Reeves and Seth Rogen, emphasizing their contributions to what promises to be a significant film for the studio.
Originally scheduled to begin principal photography in May of the previous year, Good Fortune marks Ansari’s second directorial effort after his first project, Being Mortal, based on Atul Gawande’s book, was indefinitely postponed in April 2022.
