Serena and Venus Williams made a stunning appearance at the star-studded Vogue World Paris fashion show on Sunday, showcasing sport-inspired gowns. Venus turned heads in a custom Marine Serre creation made from upcycled tennis bags, featuring a striking high leg slit. She wore her long, dark hair down and paired the ensemble with black kitten heels.
Meanwhile, Serena flaunted her incredible figure in an Off-White dress that blended blue, black, and white tones. The top resembled a long-sleeved sports top with a quarter zip, transitioning into a flowing fishtail skirt.
This year’s Vogue World event in Paris collaborated with youth athletic academies across France, linking various sports with a century of French fashion history. Venus shared with Vogue her admiration for the look, stating, “Marine absolutely nailed it. It embodies femininity, athleticism, and chicness all in one. Most importantly, it makes me feel empowered and confident.”
The Williams sisters appeared joyful as they walked the runway at Place Vendôme, accompanied by a performance from Bad Bunny, who electrified the venue with hits like “Vou 787”. Bad Bunny sported a sharp gray pinstriped suit by Pressiat with bold padded shoulders, accessorized with red cowboy boots, yellow-tinted sunglasses, and three diamond-encrusted chains from Tiffany & Co.
The sold-out event drew a host of celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Ciara, Maluma, Sabrina Carpenter, Emma Chamberlain, Kendall Jenner, Katy Perry, Karlie Kloss, and Aya Nakamura. Place Vendôme, known for its fine jewelry and cinematic allure, served as a fitting backdrop for the celebration of fashion and sport.
Anna Wintour, Vogue’s global editorial director and Condé Nast chief content officer, described Vogue World Paris as an “opening ceremony” honoring 100 years of fashion and sport in the iconic city. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Secours Populaire, aiding young athletes in accessing essential equipment across France.
