Both Tom Holland and Ella Purnell are emerging as prominent figures in the acting world, recognized as two of the industry’s youngest rising stars.

He did it: Tom bagged the EE Rising Star Award at the ceremony, which is voted for by the public

Speculation about their compatibility grew after they reportedly displayed a close bond at the BAFTAs on Sunday night. According to The Sun, both aged 20, they were inseparable at the Weinstein party following the ceremony, continuing their festivities at London’s Rosewood Hotel. Witnesses described them dancing and engaged in lengthy conversations, with one source suggesting Tom was particularly captivated by Ella.

“Tom and Ella were very close inside the Weinstein party, and it was clear he was smitten with her,” the source disclosed. “He was in high spirits and led her around the dance floor, surrounded by friends including his mother, Nicola Frost. At one point, he even FaceTimed his friends from inside the venue.” The source added that Ella later joined Tom at his hotel, though they arrived separately.

Tom, who gained initial fаme as Billy Elliot on the West End stage, enjoyed a successful evening both personally and professionally, winning the EE Rising Star award, as voted by the public. Accepting the accolade at the Royal Albert Hall, he expressed gratitude to BAFTA and the British public for their support, while humorously acknowledging the challenges of online voting.

In a press conference backstage, Tom revealed he had voted for Irish actress Ruth Negga over himself, clarifying his earlier quip. His career has soared, highlighted by his role in the upcoming superhero film “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and ongoing work in the “Avengers” franchise.

The couple, who often shared affectionate posts on social media, have not featured each other online in nearly a year and reportedly no longer follow each other on Instagram.

While Ella’s current romantic status remаins undisclosed, she was previously linked to her “Miss Peregrine’s” co-star Asa Butterfield, describing their chemistry test as effortless in an interview with Schon magazine.
