She oversees her own fashion brand called Serena.
Tennis icon Serena Williams looked stunning as she showcased the latest offerings from her collection in an Instagram post posted on Saturday.
The 39-year-old superstar exuded elegance in a taupe Leena Crossback Sweater Dress that hugged her impressive silhouette.
“Look back at it ,” Serena captioned the post, along with a tag to her fashion line.
The ensemble caught the attention of numerous fans, including her husband Alexis Ohanian, who simply commented, “Ok.”
In the photos, Serena flaunted her physique as she confidently wore the form-fitting dress paired with matching heels.
Another photo showed the athlete displaying her toned figure while posing with her back to the camera.
Serena announced the launch of her online store Serena back in 2018.
She wrote: “They sаy life is about timing. I learned this lesson at age 18 when I chose to play a light tennis schedule because I wаnted to go to fashion school. Some criticized my decision, but I knew I had two passions – tennis and fashion – and I had to find a way to pursue both.”
“After 15 years of setbacks and people in fashion telling me ‘no,’ it only fueled my determination to work harder. As a result, I discovered what it means to invest in myself, and that self-belief propelled me to achieve my dream.”
“Today, I am proud to launch @serena, my own online shop. Never stop believing in yourself, you’re worth it.”
Aside from her role as a fashion entrepreneur, Serena is renowned for her immensely successful tennis career.
Recently, however, she announced her withdrawal from the Western & Southern Open in Mason, Ohio, due to a right leg injᴜry sustained at Wimbledon.
Serena has not played since injuring her leg during a first-round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus, where she slipped on wet grass and was forced to retire.
“Unfortunately, I will not be playing in the Western & Southern Open next week as I am still recovering from my leg injᴜry at Wimbledon,” said Williams, currently ranked 20th. “I will miss all of my fans in Cincinnati whom I look forward to seeing every summer. I plan to be back on the court very soon.”
