What Kevin Hart’s son sаid blew his dad’s mind at the ‘Captаin Underpаnts’ premiere

Kevin Hart will soon have more opportunities for special father-child moments as his new wife is expecting their first child. However, on Sunday, his focus was on bonding with his older son, Hendrix.

The actor, who has a son and daughter from his previous marriage, brought his 9-year-old son as his guest to the L.A. premiere of “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie,” where Hart voices the character George Beard. In the movie, George and his friend hypnotize their grumpy principal into becoming a “superhero” named Captain Underpants, complete with a crime-figҺting outfit consisting of underpants and a red cape with black polka-dots, based on the popular book series.

It was an enjoyable outing for father and son, and Kevin was particularly moved by a gesture from Hendrix on the red carpet. Kevin took to Instagram to share a photo of Hendrix approaching him while he was speaking to a reporter and carefully placing the Captain Underpants cape he was wearing on his dad’s shoulders.

“During one of my interviews on the red carpet today, my son put a cape on me,” Kevin wrote. “I asked him why, and he said it was because his dad is Superman.”

The 37-year-old actor added, “I swear my kids amaze me more and more every day. Everything I do is for them. … I love you son. Keep making your dad proud. You’re doing an amazing job!”

As for Kevin’s 12-year-old daughter, Heaven, she couldn’t attend the premiere because she had a soccer game. Kevin shared, “My little girl couldn’t make it because she was destroying her opposing soccer team this morning, but she was there in spirit.”
