Halle Berry’s absence in ‘John Wick 4’ raised eyebrows after her impressive performance in the third film alongside Keanu Reeves.

Berry’s entry into the John Wick series was a result of her proactive pursuit of the role from director Chad Stahelski. She portrayed Sofia Al-Azwar, the manager of the Continental’s Casablanca branch, who goes out of her way to aid John Wick, ultimately defying the High Table and her former boss.

While Sofia’s fate remai𝚗s undisclosed in the franchise, speculation suggests she may have met a grim end, possibly hu𝚗ted down and killed for her defiance, much like Wick himself.

Director Chad Stahelski addressed Berry’s absence in ‘John Wick 4,’ explaining that he aimed to avoid franchise fatigue by not simply bringing back established characters for the sake of it. He expressed admiration for Berry and hinted at the possibility of exploring her character further in potential spinoff projects.
