Idris and Sabrina Elba were seen departing the Duke of York Theatre on Saturday evening following their attendance at Tom Holland’s portrayal of Romeo in Shakespeare’s classic, “Romeo and Juliet.”
Tom Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man and aged 28, currently graces the stage as Romeo Montague in this fresh rendition of the Shakespearean tragedy.
Exiting the theatre, 51-year-old Idris maintained a composed demeanor, dressed in a pale blue sweater, white chinos, and black and blue sneakers, complemented by stylish sunglasses. Meanwhile, Sabrina, aged 34, was glimpsed in the back of a taxi sporting a fashionable beige trench coat.
The Elbas aren’t the only high-profile guests to visit Tom this week. On Thursday, his girlfriend Zendaya was seen picking him up from the theatre. In fan-captured footage, the 27-year-old actress could be seen eagerly waiting for her 28-year-old boyfriend in a sprinter van after his performance, smiling and leaning out of the car alongside one of his three brothers.
Reports suggest that Tom has been instructed to swiftly exit the theatre premises after his performances due to the overwhelming number of fans seeking encounters with him. Despite the change in routine, he has graciously complied with the new rules, emphasizing his professionalism and cooperation.
These measures, enforced in the interest of public safety, aim to manage crowds and maintain order around the theatre vicinity. The Westminster Council assures theatregoers that additional support is available if needed, emphasizing the importance of maintaining public spaces.
Earlier this month, Tom greeted fans with smiles and waves as he left the stage door, refraining from personal interactions but remaining open to photo opportunities. Since his theatrical return, he has embraced a more casual wardrobe, opting for T-shirts and trainers, and even debuted a new hairstyle.
Tom’s return to the stage marks a significant moment in his career trajectory, having initially gained recognition for his role in Billy Elliot the Musical in London’s West End over a decade ago.
