While Kevin Hart has been busy filming his new movie, The Man From Toronto, in the titular city, he has also managed to squeeze in some time for fresh ink.
The 41-year-old actor took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to share a snapshot of his Toronto-based tattoo artist, Scoot Mason, diligently working on a new tattoo.
Although Hart hasn’t yet unveiled the final piece, Mason hinted that it’s quite an elaborate tattoo, noting that they have already completed six sessions.
The photo showed Hart lying shirtless on his stomach on a tattoo table as Mason worked on his back. The Central Intelligence star sported a black baseball cap worn backwards and was seen checking his phone as the tattooing continued. Several of Hart’s existing tattoos on his shoulders, arms, and upper back were also visible in the photo. Hart praised Mason in his caption, writing, “#ComedicRockStarS**t #LifeStory ….shout out to @scootscootmason AKA one of the best tattoo artists on the planet.”
Mason also shared the same photo on his verified Instagram, captioning it, “My boy’s a monster!!! …..6 sessions later!” He additionally posted the photo on his Instagram story with the caption, “Monsters,” though the completion date of the tattoo rеmains unclear.
Hart has been in Toronto since mid-October, working on The Man From Toronto with co-stars Wооdy Harrelson and Kaley Cuoco. The action-comedy revolves around ‘the world’s deadliest assɑssin and New York’s biggest scrеw-up’ who are mistaken for each other at an Airbnb rental.
Ellen Barkin also stars in the film, which is directed by Patrick Hughes (The Expendables 3) and written by Robbie Fox (Playing For Keeps) and Chris Bremner (Bad Boys for Life).
Hart’s new stand-up comedy special, No F**s Given*, was named Netflix’s most-watched comedy special of 2020. The special, which premiered on November 17, garnered 21 million views in its first four weeks of release.
He also has several upcoming projects, including a remake of The Great Outdoors, Fatherhood (set to release in April), and My Own Worst Enemy.
