Tom Holland utilized special FX makeup to smear fake blооd all over his body during his performance in the West End production of “Romeo & Juliet” at the Duke of York Theatre on Thursday. The Marvel actor, aged 27, captivated the audience as he stood on stage, applying the blооd to his face and neck in a chilling scene.
Following his appearances in the show, Tom has transitioned from tailored suits to more casual attire, often seen sporting T-shirts and trainers, along with a fresh hairstyle. During his recent performance, he showcased his muscular physique in a white vest top, adding to the intensity of his character portrayal.
Among the audience members on Wednesday were Anya Taylor-Joy and Lewis Hamilton, who were spotted leaving the theatre after witnessing Tom’s performance. Anya, known for her role in “Furiosa,” looked stunning as she departed with her husband, musician Malcolm McRae, dressed in a denim shirt and stylish jeans, complemented by a dark coat. Lewis opted for a more subdued outfit than his usual flamboyant style, wearing a grey jumper, dark jacket, and muted jeans.
Despite the presence of other celebrities, all attention was on Tom as he exited the theatre, enthusiastically waving to fans while holding a cup of tea. Embracing a more casual, Hackney-inspired look, he wore a buttoned-up denim jacket with jeans and a crossbody bag.
In Jamie Lloyd’s modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic, Tom stars alongside Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, portraying Romeo and Juliet, respectively. Fans have flocked to Martin’s Lane, hoping to catch a glimpse of the beloved actor in action. Although autographs and selfies were initially discouraged, Tom has graciously interacted with fans, posing for photos and videos each night as they gather outside the stage door.
The demand for tickets to Tom’s West End run was immense, with over 60,000 eager fans, including TC, attempting to secure seats.
