The “John Wick” star, who lives a reclusive life, has been supporting cɑncer research and children’s hospital wards for “five or six years,” according to Metro.co.uk.

As reported by Snopes, a fact-checking website, Reeves mentioned, “I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps support a couple of children’s hospitals and cɑncer research.”

He added, “I prefer not to attach my nɑme to it; I just let the foundation do its work.”

Reeves was first motivated to get involved with these charities in the 1990s when his sister Kim was diagnosed with leukemia.
