The star of “Spider-Man” embraced a vintage-inspired appearance while filming his latest project in New York City. Move over, Peter Parker—Tom Holland debuted a fresh look on Thursday, March 31, while working on his upcoming TV series, “The Crowded Room.” The 25-year-old actor was spotted sporting notably longer hair for his new role, diverging from his usual style. Alongside the new haircut, Tom was seen donning a burnt orange, checkered button-down shirt paired with green corduroy pants.

Tom was also observed taking a stroll with rising actress Sasha Lane, his co-star in “The Crowded Room.” Sasha had her dreadlocks pulled back into a ponytail and sported a 70s-inspired ensemble similar to Tom’s. She wore dark blue pants and a tie-dye blue shirt layered under a green leather jacket.

This shaggy new appearance for Tom marks a departure from the clean-cut look fans are accustomed to seeing when he portrays the friendly-neighborhood Spider-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe films like “Captain America: Civil Wаr,” the “Avengers” series, and his own Spider-Man movies.

The new direction for Tom comes on the heels of the massive success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in December 2021. The latest installment of the MCU brought back beloved characters from past Spider-Man films, including Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, along with classic villains from their respective franchises.

In addition to his new TV series, Tom has been spotted spending quality time with his girlfriend and “Spider-Man” co-star Zendaya. With the actor working in New York City, the couple has been seen enjoying romantic evenings and attending events such as watching the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden back in February.
