Having wrapped production on The Matrix 4 at the close of last year, Keanu Reeves finds himself with some free time, which he’s utilizing to the fullest with outings on his Arch Motorcycle.
Seen in Malibu on Tuesday, the 56-year-old actor proudly displayed his motorcycle to a gathering of fellow riders. He sported a beard and wore a brown jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots, accessorized with a backpack and a helmet matching the colors of his bike.
Reeves, along with Gard Hollinger, co-founded the custom bike manufacturer Arch Motorcycles in 2011, known for producing what they term as an ‘American performance cruiser.’
While awaiting the release of two more John Wick films, currently in pre-production, Reeves is reportedly being considered for a Spider-Man spin-off movie featuring Marvel villain Kraven The Hunter.
In the meantime, Reeves can be seen in the recently released Paramount Nickelodeon movie SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run, available on streaming service Paramount Plus. He voices the character Sage, a magical tumbleweed offering wisdom to SpongeBob SquarePants in his quest to rescue kidnapped sea snail Gary.
Writer and director Tim Hill revealed that Reeves was his top choice for the role of Sage, having envisioned the actor in the part from the start. “We made little Keanu drawings so long before he actually agreed, he was kind of in the movie,” Hill said in an interview with TVLine. “We had temp voices doing him, and the momentum was too much.”
