“As I embark on this journey ā as an artist, as a mother, as a wife ā I’m constantly striving not to compromise any part of myself for success. So, what do you want to know?” she pondered as the trailer concluded.
All four episodes of “Noted: Alicia Keys The Untold Stories” will premiere globally for free on Sept. 30 on Keys’ YouTube Channel. The docuseries is produced by Westbrook Media.
Additionally, the singer-songwriter is preparing for the release of her eighth studio album. At the MTV Video Music Awards, Keys performed her newly released single “LaLa” alongside Swae Lee for the first time. Her performance, set against a backdrop of New York City, seamlessly transitioned into a slower rendition of “Empire State of Mind,” her 2009 collaboration with JAY-Z. This marked her return to the award show stage after nine years, having previously performed “Girl on Fire” in 2012 with Nicki Minaj.
In July, Keys celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with husband Swizz Beatz, with whom she shares sons Egypt, 10, and Genesis, 6. She commemorated the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post, describing their love as “soulmates,” “twin flames,” and an “existential earthquake,” expressing deep respect and admiration for their bond.
