On Sunday he shared an Instagram story showing a red bruise at the top of his forehead, which he got during a round of golf in Scotland late last month

The 27-year-old actor’s girlfriend, Zendaya, who is also 27, was one of the co-chairs for the event, leading fans to anticipate that the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” star would accompany her.

Despite his absence, Tom showed support for Zendaya by sharing photos on social media of two of her stunning Met Gala outfits, accompanied by three heart-eye emojis in the caption.
