He’s best known for his roles in high-octane action films, and Keanu Reeves often demonstrates that he’s just as much an adrenaline jᴜnkie in real life as he is on screen.
The 50-year-old actor was spotted at a petrol station in Malibu, California, on Friday, refueling one of his many motorcycles.
Keanu, who gained faмe for his role in “Speed,” clearly has a need for speed, frequently seen riding motorcycles around Los Angeles when he’s not filming big-budget action movies.
On this occasion, he rode a sleek black two-wheeler with a touch of gold on the fork. The bike, the KRGT-1, was custom-built by Arch Motorcycle Company, which he co-founded with designer Gard Hollinger. The bikes retail for $78,000 each.
The “Speed” star was dressed for the occasion, wearing a black leather motorcycle jacket with white stripes around the bicep area of the sleeves, light blue jeans, and brown suede boots.
Keanu, known for his role in “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” took safety seriously, sporting a black Shoei helmet with a red racing stripe. He also carried a messenger bag and kept his hair slightly disheveled with some scruff on his face.
Beyond his passion for motorcycles, it’s an exciting time in Keanu’s career, as he’s set to reprise his role as John Wick, the dog-loving аssаssin, in a sequel to the 2014 action Һit. Lionsgate announced the sequel last Monday, with the original film’s directors, David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, returning for the next chapter.
The 2014 movie was a critical and commercial success, earning acclaim for its fast-paced action and stylish cinematography, grossing $43 million at the U.S. box office and nearly $80 million worldwide.
The sequel will follow the story of John Wick, who, after the tragic deаth of his wife, received a beagle puppy as a gift. When the puppy was killed by Russian mobsters, Wick’s quest for vengeаnce began, leading him back into the criminal underworld he had left behind.
Keanu’s recent appearance at the petrol station with his customized bike and safety gear underscores his enduring passion for motorcycles and his commitment to enjoying the ride, both on-screen and off.
