Filming with Ice Cube isn’t always a cool experience, especially when you’re in Florida’s scorching heat.
On Monday, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, whose real nаme is O’Shea Jackson, were spotted in Miami shooting “Ride Along 2,” the sequel to the Һit cop comedy released in January. Kevin is reprising his role as Ben, a security guard who earned the approval of top cop James, played by Ice Cube, allowing him to marry James’s sister, portrayed by Tika Sumpter.
Tim Story is returning as director, and Ken Jeong has joined the cast. This time, the action moves to South Beach, Miami, where the stars are working to solve a new case.
Kevin, who had just turned 35 the previous day, was dressed in vibrant resort wear, sporting a bright yellow shirt and tropical floral-print cargo pants. To complete his outfit, the 5-foot-2-inch comedian wore a yellow straw trilby hat.
Ice Cube, aged 45, stuck to his character’s more restrained style, wearing a light shirt over a dark T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
Despite temperatures reaching over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the two actors seemed in good spirits as they chatted with director Tim Story while filming a scene next to a light blue car. The movie is scheduled for release in the United States on January 15, 2016.
In other news, Kevin’s latest sequel, “Think Like A Man Too,” is performing well at the box office, having opened in the U.S. on June 20 with a solid $29.2 million.
