Zendaya has been turning heads with her stunning tennis-themed outfits as she promotes her new movie, “Challengers.”

On Wednesday, the 27-year-old actress dazzled in a form-fitting white gown with a statement hood as she stepped out in New York City for the film’s promotional event. The dress highlighted her figure and was complemented by a pair of towering white heels.

Zendaya’s attire for the entire “Challengers” promo tour has been noteworthy, with many of her looks drawing inspiration from tennis. She has caught the world’s attention in recent weeks, often opting for tennis skirts, all-white outfits, and even styles with overt tennis themes.

Earlier this month, Zendaya wore custom-designed Loewe shoes with a unique pin-thin heel and a tennis ball in the middle. However, on Wednesday, she chose a simple white dress that subtly referenced the movie’s sporty theme.

In “Challengers,” Zendaya plays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy who becomes a coach after her career is cut short due to injᴜry. She falls in love and marries Art, played by Mike Faist, but later finds herself in a complicated love triangle when Art competes on the Challenger Tour against her ex, Patrick, played by Josh O’Connor.

The film is directed by Luca Guadagnino, known for “Suspiria” and “Call Me By Your Nɑme,” and contains some steɑmy scenes that led fans to joke about Zendaya’s boyfriend, Tom Holland, possibly being a bit uncomfortable.

Zendaya has admitted that she knew very little about tennis before taking on this role, even though she once visited Wimbledon. In an interview with Heart Evenings with Dev Griffin, she said she was just there to watch Serena Williams and didn’t quite understand the game at the time.

However, her role in “Challengers” has deepened her appreciation for tennis. She explained that after working on the film, she saw tennis in a new light and was excited to watch Serena Williams play again at the US Open, where the atmosphere was much livelier compared to Wimbledon.
