Tom Holland’s Heаrtfelt Confession: The Unbreаkable Bond with Zendaya Trаnscending Hollywood

Tom Holland is opening up about the significant role Zendaya plays in his life.

During his recent appearance on the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, the 27-year-old Spider-Man actor spoke about his relationship with Zendaya, 26, describing it as “the thing I keep most sacred.”

“I don’t talk about it much. I try to keep it as private as possible. We both believe that this is the healthiest way to proceed as a couple,” Holland explained about their relationship, shortly after expressing his desire to “focus on what makes me happy” outside of his work in Hollywood.

Holland and “Dune” star Zendaya have been connected since they were first cast in Marvel Studios’ latest Spider-Man movies, beginning with 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Although they emphasized that they were just friends for years, the pair were spotted kissing in a car in 2021, and they soon made their relationship Instagram official.

Holland recently said he feels “lucky to have someone like Zendaya in my life,” during an episode of the “SmartLess” podcast.

“It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone who is in the same industry as you,” he remarked about Zendaya, who also stars in the Һit HBO series “Euphoria.” “You can share your experiences, and that is worth its weight in gold.”

In a video interview with UNILAD released in June, Holland recalled how he once impressed Zendaya early in their relationship. “I fixed my girlfriend’s door once really early on in our relationship. I was Һаnging out at her house and her door was broken. I was like, ‘I’m gonna fix that door for you.’ And now we’re in love.”

Holland and Zendaya’s relationship mirrors those of past Spider-Man series leads; Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire dated during their time filming the 2000s Spider-Man trilogy, and Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were also romantically involved while filming the two “Amazing Spider-Man” movies.

Elsewhere in his appearance on Shetty’s podcast, Holland discussed his decision to quit drinking and his changing views on the entertainment industry.

“I really am a massive fan of making movies but I really do not like Hollywood,” he said. “The business side of it really scares me. I understand I am part of that business and I enjoy my interactions with it, but that being said, I am always looking for ways to remove myself from it, to live as normal a life as possible.”
