Keanu Reeves appeared geared up for a significant stunt during the filming of his latest movie.
The 59-year-old star of The Matrix, who recently paid tribute to his late John Wick co-star Lance Riddick, was seen on the set of Good Fortune in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Clad in a dark suit, tan trench coat, and angel wings, the action hero gave a thumbs-up while positioned on a rooftop, seemingly connected to a wire.
Beside him, his stunt double sported an identical ensemble, with a production assistant holding the wire a few feet behind the duo.
The upcoming comedy by Aziz Ansari, featuring Seth Rogen and Keke Palmer, has kept details under wraps. Keke joined the cast last month, prompting Aziz to express his delight and excitement.
Aziz, known for Netflix’s Master of None, wrote and directed Good Fortune as his debut feature, marking his second attempt at directing after the halted project Being Mortal.
The film’s specifics remain undisclosed, but Lionsgate Chair Joe Drake expressed enthusiasm in April, stating, “We have indeed found good fortune with this film. We love the script and believe strongly in Aziz as both a performer and a director.”
Keanu, who recently received the inaugural Lance Reddick Legacy Award at the 2024 Saturn Awards, paid tribute to his late friend during the event. Reeves is also set to reprise his iconic role as John Wick in the upcoming film, Ballerina, alongside Ana de Armas.
