Tom Holland, like the rest of the internet, was captivated by his girlfriend Zendaya’s stunning appearance at Schiaparelli’s haute couture fashion show in Paris. The Spider-Man actor took to his Instagram Story to share two photos of Zendaya, expressing his admiration with three heart-eye emojis in the first post. In his second Story, he reposted a video of Zendaya arriving at the show with the caption, “This was made for me ” – showcasing his playful and appreciative response.
Earlier in the month, Holland dispelled breakup rumors when approached by a TMZ photographer on January 12. He emphatically stated that they were “absolutely not” split up, addressing concerns raised by fans due to Zendaya unfollowing him, and others, on Instagram.
Holland and Zendaya have consciously kept their relationship private. Zendaya discussed the challenges of public interest in their romance in an interview with ELLE during the summer. Navigating the public’s attention is a complex matter for them. “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public,” Zendaya remarked. “I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”
The couple’s dating news resurfaced in July 2021, confirming speculations that began in 2017. In a GQ interview in November 2021, Holland shared the difficulty of having their relationship exposed by a video showing them kissing in his car. He expressed the challenge of losing privacy as a downside of fame and how moments meant for two people in love become shared with the entire world. Despite sharing much of their lives publicly, they both value keeping certain aspects of their personal life private.
