Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham’s Vacation with a Private Helicopter Ride

Like us, celebrities enjoy unwinding on vacation, but there are some differences in the hotels and locations they pick as well as the modes of transportation. For instance, Jason Statham and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley choose to travel to their location via private helicopter.

With an estimated combined net worth of $120 million, Rosie and Jason—both equally well-known in their respective fields of expertise—have ample means to lead opulent lives.

Jason Statham, who is well-known for his passion for travel, takes great care in the vehicles he has acquired over the years. The action movie star has an Aston Martin DBS, a Jaguar XJR, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP, a Jaguar E-Type, two Audi R8, and a Porsche 911 G2.

But when he’s not behind the wheel, Statham and his model fiancé appear to travel in elegance. The former Victoria’s Secret model and actress announced on Instagram that she and her partner are enjoying “a few days away,” adding that they took a private helicopter to reach their idyllic vacation spot.

Huntington-Whiteley, who is expecting the couple’s second child, uploaded a few photos of Statham with their private helicopter, a Leonardo AW109SP GrandNew, although the actor was not in them.

The 2020-built aircraft has room for seven passengers and one or two pilots. The leather seats in the roomy cabin provide the utmost in luxury while having the least possible negative impact on the environment.

It has two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW207C turbo-shaft engines. The helicopter can travel up to 193 mph (311 kph) and cruise at 179 mph (289 kph). Its ergonomic glass cockpit, with an 8.4″ central display with features like Digital Map, Enhanced Vision, Forward Looking Infra Red, and Cargo Hook cameras, reduces crew workload and improves visibility.

After an unremarkable brief helicopter journey, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley posted another photo of Statham lounging carelessly on a lounge while on their idyllic vacation. One may truly become accustomed to that type of travel given that airports and crowds are not an issue.
