But in 2010, when Jay-Z brought his wife out to perform “Forever Young” during his performance on the main stage, it was as close to a cultural earthquake as the festival could get.

Beyoncé and Jay are the best at Halloween. Over the years, they’ve had many great costumes, but their rendition of the Mattel classic was the fan favorite. It may also be the only occasion on which Blue Ivy has failed to appear for them.

For those who were fortunate enough to see the original On the Run, almost every minute of it was a personal highlight, even though these two are getting ready to do this tour again. This tour provided a reminder that we are genuinely undeserving, from the costumes to the home movies that aired on the giant screens in the background.

Alright, so in a strict sense, this is less of a couple’s moment and more of a Beyoncé moment. However, Lemonade played a crucial role in shaping the husband and wife team that we know today. This is due in part to the breathtaking pictures like this one, but it also set the standard for openness about a marriage’s ups and downs that we now take pleasure in. Even if Queen Bey is perfect, we still adore this couple despite their imperfect relationship.
