Tom Holland takes a one-year break from acting after his challenging role in ‘The Crowded Room’

In a recent interview with Extra, actor Tom Holland announced his decision to take a temporary hiatus from film projects after his involvement in the new Apple TV+ series titled “The Crowded Room.” This choice comes on the heels of challenging and strenuous scenes Holland faced while portraying the character Danny Sullivan.

Now, with the decision to pause his film commitments for a year, Holland believes this desire is on the verge of becoming a reality.Speaking to EW last month, Holland expressed his high regard for his role in “The Crowded Room.” Yet, he also acknowledged that the character had pushed him beyond his personal limits, leading to a “bit of disruption” in his personal life.“I saw myself in that character, much like in my personal life. I remember being frustrated and wanting to shave my head because I needed to break free from this character. But our film was in the midst of making, so I had to set aside those thoughts,” shared Tom Holland. The actor elaborated on his plans after wrapping up “The Crowded Room,” mentioning that he intends to dedicate time to his family, friends, and allow himself the luxury of rest and travel.
