Emily Ratajkowski Wears Green Dress to the 2023 VMAs

The controversial “Blurred Lines” music video, which featured Robin Thicke, was Emily Ratajkowski’s first and only music video credit. It has been ten years since then, but the supermodel, podcaster, and writer may now attend the Video Music Awards without having to appear in a video. She’s so much more than just the girl from that video ten years later. Which is most likely the reason MTV chose the 32-year-old to host the program this year.

In an updated take on the 2000s fashion classic, the handkerchief dress, EmRata walked the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, which is being held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Ratajkowski wore a two-piece outfit that featured a green scarf-top worn in a halter manner, exposing several inches of abs and crisscrossing the chest. EmRata’s uneven skirt had a knotted waistband, and the top’s green contrasted with the burnt orange floral pattern of the skirt.

Ratajkowksi complemented the ’70s-inspired natural glam makeup with her center-parted waves of “glazed amber” hair.

The vivid green color and feminine skirt complement her last New York Fashion Week outfit, a see-through lace green halter dress that she accessorized without a bra.

Remarkably, Emily Ratajkowski wasn’t even present at the 2013 VMAs, when Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke gave a peculiar performance of Thicke’s famous song. However, as far as we are aware, Thicke won’t be there this year. Moreover, don’t fret about Cyrus. Regardless matter how you read the lyrics of her new song “Used to Be Young,” the 30-year-old is basically promising to behave herself, even though she is up for multiple awards tonight.
