In the first of three digital skits, Nwodim humorously inquired if Eilish and McKinnon had a role in Oppenheimer since they were both described as ‘the bоmb’ in the drɑmɑ feature.

Following the playful exchange, the trio shared a handshake, and the Barbie actress amusingly expressed her concern that the commercials might be ‘too funny.

In the second part, the Saturday Night Live cast member mentioned there was a ‘certain vibe’ in the air. While the singer noted they all felt the ‘Christmas spirit,’ McKinnon humorously confessed to preparing roast beef sandwiches on set.

In the final section, the three performers discussed their favorite aspects of the holiday season. While Eilish and Nwodim shared their love for traditional Christmas elements, the comedian amusingly expressed her fondness for ‘the unconquered sun god Mithra.’

The music artist suggested that she would be performing her original track from the Barbie soundtrack, titled “What Was I Made For?,” on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. When asked about her song choice for Saturday Night Live, she gestured to her hat, featuring the logo of the Margot Robbie-starring movie.

Released as a single on July 13, “What Was I Made For?” was co-written by Eilish and her brother Finneas. The accompanying music video showcased the singer in a dress reminiscent of the one worn by Robbie at the conclusion of Barbie.
