The renowned pop superstar and Mahomes were captured spending quality time together at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. It turned out to be an ideal evening for Taylor Swift to join her newfound friend Brittany Mahomes for Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game.
While the pop sensation, aged 34, and Mahomes, aged 28, made their appearance to support their partners playing for the Chiefs against the New England Patriots, they also seemed to relish a delightful evening together, dispelling any unverified rumors of a disagreement.
A few of the Grammy winner’s friends were photographed enjoying the game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, occupying a box suite with her. Singer/actress Alana Haim, fashion consultant Ashley Avignone, and one of her backup singers, Melanie Nyema, were in the row ahead of her. Swift was positioned between her father Scott Swift and Mahomes, cheering for her boyfriend Travis Kelce and Brittany’s husband, Patrick Mahomes.
The group seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves, marking their fifth time watching the Chiefs play together from the same suite. The singer-songwriter and Brittany, who share a game day handshake, elevated their sideline celebrations to new heights.
During a touchdown celebration, which contributed to the Chiefs’ eventual 27-17 victory, the ‘Karma’ singer joyfully lifted Brittany off the ground, with photographers capturing the jubilant moment as the hitmaker enthusiastically embraced a triumphant Brittany.
Throughout the game, Brittany also shared a humorous photo on her Instagram Stories, paying homage to her newfound close friend.
Sharing an image of a cookie adorned with the phrase ‘Dads, Brads, and Chads,’ Brittany alluded to a remark made by the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer during her Time Person of the Year cover story. In the interview, Taylor Swift downplayed the attention she receives at Travis Kelce’s games.
The pop star clarified that she attends games to ‘support Travis,’ is ‘unaware’ of how frequently she appears on TV, and isn’t concerned about ‘irritating a few dads, Brads, and Chads.’
Coincidentally, the two friends sported game day outfits that featured sweet nods to their respective partners on the field. While the ‘Karma’ singer showcased her allegiance to the Kansas City team in a gray Chiefs sweatshirt, she also wore a red-and-white knit beanie adorned with Kelce’s jersey number.
Meanwhile, Brittany donned a custom piece that paid tribute to her quarterback husband. Layered over a black mini skirt and sweater, the fitness entrepreneur wore an ivory coat featuring personalized ‘Mahomes’ in bold black letters across the back
