New information about Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert, which will be available in many countries

Beyonce had her numerous admirers all psyched up overnight by teasing a major announcement that turned out to be lackluster.

Fans first suspected Beyonce was working on something when her website went offline for several hours.

Social media exploded with conjecture about what was to come: A live record? Are there any new tour dates? The enigmatic visual component of her Renaissance album – or perhaps a follow-up, Renaissance Act II?

Finally, the website was restored, along with a video message broadcast to Beyonce’s company’s social networks, Parkwood Entertainment.

Beyonce’s new announcement sent fans into a frenzy. Her acclaimed Renaissance tour only played North America and Europe.

“OK, OK, you didn’t have to destroy my website. But I told you, the Renaissance isn’t done”, Beyonce says in the video, before listing a slew of countries.

“Brazil! Thailand, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia…” and on she went before the film displayed breathtaking footage from the Renaissance trip. But the thrill was quickly short-lived as fans found out the announcement wasn't to announce new tour dates - which was revealed at the end of the minute-long video

Fans had to wait until the end of the movie to find out the big reveal: these aren’t new tour dates, but rather new nations where the Renaissance tour film would be shown in theaters. The film was previously released in many key regions around the world in December.

“The Renaissance continues across the globe in a theatre near you”, Beyonce told the crowd.

This year, Beyonce’s Renaissance tour visited North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom on 56 occasions for five months.

Other big markets, such as South America, Asia, and Australia, were not included (in fact, it has been a decade since she last visited this country, with the Mrs Carter Show world tour in October 2013).

Fans were outraged by the revelation, with some even claiming they had stopped watching the video once their nation was disclosed to notify pals that Beyonce would finally be touring in a city near them.

“The way she loves to play with our feelings,” one of the most popular comments on Parkwood’s Instagram post said.

“I thought this was a dаmn tour announcement,” said another.

“Can we get a list of what’s coming up in the Renaissance if it’s not over yet?” I simply want to be prepared. “My heart can’t take it any longer,” one fan speculated.

Still, Beyonce has a track record of hyping significant revelations that turn out to be everything but.
